Shoe Factory Suspends Operation.
The Halifax shoe factory has suspended operations, the firm, Messrs. Johnson & Bailey, having taken charge of a plant at Millersburg. It is said several parties are negotiating for the Halifax factory, and that before many weeks pass around the plant will likely resume again. Several of the employees have secured employment at shoe factories in this city and Carlisle.
