Dear Mr. Arnold:

We have the Pa1 Injector Razor which you fund unsatisfactory.

We are sending this razor to our Quality Control Department where a thorough inspection will be made. Separately, we are sending you a new razor to replace the one you returned. We are confident that this razor will give you the utmost in shaving satisfaction, giving you the kind of shaves you have a right to expect.

Since the Pa1 Injector Razor is manufactured with very close tolerances and under the most precise manufacturing methods, it is possible that something in the razor was ever so slightly out of adjustment. In a precision instrument such as this one the very smallest misalignment will cause malfunction.

Thank you for returning the razor and for bring this matter our attention.

Harrisburg Daily Independent. Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. November 8, 1897. Shoe Factory Suspends Operation. The Halifax shoe factory has suspended operations, the firm, Messrs. Johnson & Bailey, having taken charge of a plant at Millersburg. It is said several parties are negotiating for the Halifax factory, and that before many weeks pass around the plant will likely resume again. Several of the employees have secured employment at shoe factories in this city and Carlisle.
